What gaming news sites do you use?

Title basically says it all but I’m trying to find more gaming news sites to broaden my range.

None. I haven’t found any I’ve liked. Most of the news I’ll hear via Twitter/streams/podcasts and the like. For a few games I’ll follow their news site directly (usually for patch notes, e.g. http://eu.battle.net/heroes/en/blog/)

Eurogamer mostly. And some kotaku UK, because I always enjoyed reading keza macdonalds stuff, but she’s off to have a sprog so will probably check there less tbh.

Every time I look at waypoint there seems to be loads of cool stuff too, but then I never get round to reading any of it

I am very passive about gaming news and don’t actively look for them. I follow some publications on twitter, but I only get information from that when I glance at my twitter and they happen to post at the same time. Otherwise its word of mouth (Friends on social media, Twitch chat, or JP’s discord) and podcasts like co-optional and Dropped Frames.

My avenue of news about games mostly comes from Twitch. Mainly Dropped Frames and Co-optional. I’ve even only experienced (not playing it myself) certain franchises such as Uncharted, Gears of War, Bioshock and more by watching someone that’s having a playthrough of the series. Sometimes that’s enough for me to decide if I want or dont want to buy the game.

Same as Jabba I occasionally listen to gaming podcasts. Other than that I get all my gaming news from friends talking to me on steam.

I don’t have a particular site that I go to for gaming news, I do, however, follow a bunch of sites on twitter. I use TweetDeck to group and sort all the different sites into different categories. I highly recommend it.
