WHAT 2018 until the next season!! 
They can’t do that to us we must demand that they make it faster, but then it might be as good, but I want it now, but I really want it to be the same or better quality, fuck I guess we have to wait until 2018

Indeed. It’s what they’re doing with True Detective after that lackluster second season, and Game of Thrones was delayed by a good few months as well (and the last book is gonna be two shortened seasons of about 7~ episodes each).
It’s nice that HBO has the clout and financial resources to break form on traditional television production methods. I do wish I could just get everything “now”, but in the end we’ll all appreciate how they’ve shifted focus on quality over quantity and expediency.
BTW, the creators went into Westworld with a 5 or 6 season story frame in mind, so we have a good “few” years of this to look forward to if nothing changes and the quality stays consistent.
