I had too many encounters/fights planned I had to cut a few of them.

I also had too many redcaps I had 3 more in the back that I cut because they would have been overwhelmed lol

I don’t really have a question, I just want to say Dan did a great job. It’s one thing to make your first ever GMing experience a live stream for a couple thousand people, it’s another thing entirely to not even use a pre-packaged one-shot and do it with custom content too. Honestly this was a lot of fun.

I sadly had to go to sleep when the break came and can’t wait to catch up with the later part! I was impressed how coherent the first half stayed even when the players did their part of adding chaos to the mix. Pacing stayed good and the start was set up well so it couldn’t instantly halt to a grind where players are trying to figure out what to do.

Running a one shot is usually like having a plan for a nice brisk walk but then you notice that you are out of time and have to actually get to the end things get chopped off left and right. Do you feel like that in future you would enjoy running more quick one shots or would you rather have a story of at least few sessions with the benefit of not having to cut things off?

It might be hard to answer after one session, but would you like to keep running the game more lenient and focused on what would fit the situation or story rather than cold mechanics? For example letting a dwarf ride a centaur isn’t technically acceptable, but it fit the situation and wasn’t breaking anything.

I loved it. @DansGaming is a natural. My vote is for a limited series, six monthly episodes perhaps? Such a dark, intriguing setting and the player characters were fantastic. Really want to see more!

Solid work, @DansGaming! I had to wait for the YouTube uploads because I couldn’t catch the stream and I prefer seeing the rolls and players. Did you enjoy the ability/requirement to RP multiple characters?

What is one interaction that you thought would happen between the players and an NPC that didn’t happen, or happened drastically differently than you’d expected? The ideal is to have no expectations, but especially when starting, it’s nearly impossible not to envision how things might go!
