Original rollplay show

WTF… just spend endless hours to get to week 39… and then it just ends in the most pointless way. Im litterly speachless, so much work from every single person in the show… both on the GM side and the players side and then ohh fuck it GAME OVER! epic storyline down the shitter. Im litterly this moment angry as FUCK.

Just started with Rollplay Solum, seems to be in the same world and same storyline just some years later. Some kind of big drama that I dident realy get, sins I wasent part of this community back then. Ill give Solum a go… but DAMN im still super upset… just imagin lord of the rings end with some pointless shit like the original rollplay show did :imp:

Or just blur the spoilers so you don’t have to walk on glass with a show that’s at least a year old.

First episode of the original was Published on Feb 18, 2013. So nearly 4 years ago

@OP Think about how much worse you would have felt if you have been there watching once a week in real time :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt: :itmejpoversalt:

That is fine, but it doesnt really describe how he dms or why people have issues with it.

Im grateful to Neal and being critical of him personally feels rude. He made beautiful things (then destroyed some of them) and i enjoyed it.

This was my first show with Neal as the GM. I personaly like Adam style, but I do agree that Neal dos a great job and its been alot of fun watching his world expand and the amazing adventure he made. And to be fair Geoff was asking for it, juts to bad Neal let it happen.

I think he thought his internal approach to the rules and the world was consistent.

I don’t think the way he communicated the rules and the world was consistent.

Additionally there are lots of moments where ppl had to deal with the consequences of risks they didnt realize they were taking. 2E is definitely a part of it. But i think you should generally communicate risk.

Imagine your character getting killed by a dog that was stated like a cr10 creature, yes it would be fair by the dice but your expectations and the information you had make it feel far from fair.

Fudging rolls isn’t cool. :adamgm:

If you cant accept the result, why roll the dice in the first place? Why have rules? :itmejpgmref:

Rules are EVERYTHING :itmejpgmref: :itmejpgmref: :itmejpgmref:

Except all the bad ones that we change.

But once we change them they are EVERYHING :itmejpgmref: :itmejpgmref: :itmejpgmref:

I guess sometimes the changes are a work in progress

But we strictly follow them when they are in place, The game IS the RULES
