So the dog ate the other set of balls right? In the second episode it was originally on the other plane then I believe went back in ate the balls and that’s when it popped up to save Eddie on the other plane. There seemed to be different rules initially for the balls. My theory is there is one set of rules when they have one set and another set of rules when they have the second set and Jesse had the dog eat the second set when the PCs didn’t take them.
