When the question that must not be answered is asked “Where is Verona?”…
Ooooooo…lots of spooky stuff happening on the Prudence. Kate did fantastically, if it had not been said that she had not done any RPG stuff before I would not have known, just would have thought that like many of the other cast that she had not used Stars Without Number before, I know that Max, Mark and Bronze are still getting a handle on that. I love Lileth, I really hope she’s not going crazy from not taking her MES meds regularly, but there seems to be some psychic trauma that she’s picking up on from the synth and possibly the whole Sad Songs crew situation. I can’t wait to find out more about all of this.
Love Mark’s Chaplin, that accent is the best and I can’t wait to see him interact with Nomi when Anne returns, they’re going to have some interesting chats I think XD
Intrigued to know what’s going on with Bronze’s new character, from what the synth was saying it was having dinner with Kiran when the explosion happened? Was Kiran dating the synth? It’s possibly why she’s feeling so weirded out about the notion of a synth on Sad Songs because she has ended up finding out that the person she was dating was not a person at at all but a synth. Wherever that thread leads it’s going to be interesting to see what happens.

Verona could be either a place or a person. Could be a safe hideout for the synths or it could be the ‘name’ of the synth leading a rebellion against their retirement. When a piece of show lore is teased like that it’s going to be hella interesting to see what it was foreshadowing.

I loved this episode and I think Kate did a fantastic job of playing a socially awkward Lyran. Every scene involving Nicola felt like it was straight out of an anime and I was laughing so hard.
Great work. Really looking forward to (a) the next episode and (b) seeing how Nomi interacts with the new characters.

Having recently watched Swan Song I have to note the accidental parallels between Stevens characters and Marks. First was an expert that owned and I believed piloted the ship then came the devout religious soldier with a noticeable accent. It’s still early just thought the unintentional similarities were funny.
