Will there be sexy aliens serving margaritas in Margaritaville? It’s really important. Also, when are we going to see Rex’s ex-boyfriend?

I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potato.

Adam: This is the first time I’ve felt like you’ve been forcing the story onto a track. Is that just an aspect of the compel system and you using it multiple times towards the same goal, or is there a material reason behind that?

What a sweet and compelling relationship those two have

I hope we get to see some sexy slime action soon

Laugh fest as always.

I just wanna ask, If Sam had rejected the initial compel to not eat lil Mayhem and he ate her, did you have something else planned to help them get off the station?

I don’t get people complaining about the compel system. That’s why it exists in the game. Also Rex laid down Love is a battlefield, he made that an option.

I’m wondering a bit here… A pleasure planet, specifically if being so for Slimes, who procreate through division so it’s not likely to be a red light planet. They probably have different ways of loosening up and relaxing than, say, a massage and a hot spring. They probably don’t have the same dancing and partying scene either, with their odd structure. They are definitely not eating the same way as most other sapient organisms. And getting away from the family and getting a bit of alone time, well, we’ve seen how casually they spawn off offspring and how little parental guidance is in that - unless that’s a Eugene thing specifically. Now gambling and the like, it feels like Eugene is bent towards not losing money, but perhaps slimes have similar culture to other sapients there.

So, what are the Slimey ways of pleasure and recreation? What aspects of relaxing, cutting loose and having a good time, escaping the drudgery of mundane life, of socialising etc. do slimes prefer?

of course, and that is a VERY good question. we’ll have to ask Sam about that…

I mean, that’s the nature of a game like this. I just wing it. Probably more in this game than any i’ve played before.

Nothing forced about it. Compels let us put mechanisms behind where we think the story could go, but players can almost always reject it. The PCs have that power, too - they’ll use it more and more as they get comfortable, I suspect.

Haven’t finished watching the episode yet, but the 12 parsecs pun was primo.

Really loved the episode, you can see that all players enjoy their characters and I like that Adam lets all the crazy stuff happen.

My Question for Adam: How do you balance enemies in the game? I have the feeling the outcome/difficulty of things you encounter is pretty hard to predict.

Such an amazing episode :itmejp10:  I love this series so much.

I am so curious about Eugene’s slime planet after Adam and Dodger mentioned how bad it is. I hope they visit at some point.

Feel free not to reply to this @AdamKoebel (or anyone in the cast) if it is not established yet or you want to unfold in the story-
This warrior species that lil Mayham is a part of, Did they have any warning before their planet was destroyed? I am also wondering if they colonized other planets or just stubbornly lived in their homeworld’s debris? How long ago did the destruction happen?

@AdamKoebel loved the black metal references in this episode. Is basing alien species on musical genres something we can look forward to in the future?

Really looking forward to see where this show goes, its a good mix of action, RP and comedy that we haven’t had on Rollplay since Mirrorshades.

I am still learning how to do this, but I’m finding it more about balancing specific difficulties and rolls. I try to make things a challenge by setting their bonus at just about the same level as the players. There are some guidelines in the book for setting Overcome numbers as well. I’m learning as I go!
