Wait until a fleshcrafter makes it over from the open door in the vein. They will love those trolls.
Oh Adam you mentioned force damage, this is what the phb says about it, pg 196, “Force. Force is pure magical energy focused into a damaging form.”.
I always imagined it as pure arcane energy myself, so powerful it hurts in different forms.
It somewhat surprises me that it is throwing you through a loop.
I always thought branch damage in three different types, the physical ones, elemental ones, and spiritual/magical ones(radiant, force, necrotic, psychic).
You’re thoughts about force damage just made me think of Dr. Manhattan. That’s why he’s so fucking scary. Also, he probably has resistance to it?
Will be interesting to see what happens w/ this Brew Cleric (maybe better “create food & water” than Ramus haha) It’s also interesting because I think Maharib is the only one who doesn’t speak Dwarven?
Also, with Berg doing his “zealous rage shout” and “lighting it up” w/in the vicinity is going to be weird. Because you’ve mentioned Dwarves do sort of follow some of the Human Heaven Wheel stuff??
Great episode!
Sounds like The Fountain in this setting.
Got to bet that the epicenter of that earthquake is going to be named by Ramus and go into the Book of Harmony as a positive story for Harmony
The Tale of [whatever @DansGaming names the area]
“Lo, the trolls were not in balance with the ways of Harmony and sought to attack the Benevolent Ramus Krill, who called upon the very earth to rise up and swallow the trolls. The Radiant Berg swung with his Hammer of Light at the trolls in defence of the Benevolent Ramus Krill and though he brought them low, the trolls regenerated. Even the tremendous firestorm conjured by the Cunning Ten Pillars of Gold could not stop the trolls. It was the Mighty Mararib whose Dark Axe dealt blows that the trolls could not heal and so brought them both low and dealt the killing blows.”
Here is a cool new video from the medieval weapons community on an interesting Chinese shield. Maybe Captain Southern Wind or members of the forces has one: Chinese Hook Shield (Gou-rang).
Other than Adam in damage dealt, Berg absolutely crushed it this week, on top of all categories.
this is extremely cool
