So close! Almost there!

I can’t wait for them to get out so I can write a new recap post. The first 100 episodes isn’t cutting it anymore.

The God of the City of Brass reminded me of Croaker from Black Company.
“In the night, when the wind dies and silence rules the place of glittering stone, I remember. And they all live again.”

So have heaven ever dealt with a “false profet/god” or would they all be dealt with in a manor of great king dragon wish maker?

Hey @AdamKoebel some of these questions been bothering.
Would you please offer some assistance?
What did you mean by when you said ‘‘Eldritch’s major weakness is Evolution’’?
What type of God was that who knew Berg but Berg didn’t know him?
How does that place tie down to the Court of Swords (AKA. the world the main party came from originally)?
Are there more Gods in that place?
Just because one place is destroyed it doesn’t mean it should be tossed in the place of forgotten. How is that fair? (I don’t blame you for this Adam)
Was the world the party is currently in King Tao Ti’s place he called ‘‘Hell’’ that keeps gaining dust more and more over time?

What was the great city of Brass god’s actual name?

It never came up during the show but his name is Hahnmah.

So… this is probably going a bit deep into the lore, but it crossed my mind during this session and it seems neat?

So like… all throughout today’s show and the last few, things about “things forgotten but not let go” kept coming up. And now with the introduction of Hahnmah, who is definitely forgotten, it really drove something home for me.

The god the PCs killed (RIP Sali) in the Sun’s Library was a god of Forgotten Knowledge and craved gathering all things forgotten… who happened to die right before the city of brass kaboom… which was the cause of this vein… so … was that god’s “job” to then retain and keep track of those forgotten things so that they wouldn’t develop into fissures or catalysts for veins? With the death of that god, and will the occurrence of veins to the void increase?

Some interesting thoughts at least. Loved the show and the interactions, its really cool seeing the usage of different languages (there was like 5 different shown this episode? (Celestial, Orc, Infernal, Giant, Common) I’ve always liked the concept of using and utilizing languages in D&D but always seems difficult to convey to the table in an interesting way that isn’t BS.

Look forward to the up-coming prep stream as always (sometimes I like prep streams and session 0s more than ‘regular’ shows :stuck_out_tongue: )!

In my tribe, if you refused help from people that think you’re being weird and end up needing an exorcism, you’d be killed.

@AdamKoebel asked at one point about how to carry an axe outside of combat. Here are some videos discussing how one might hang an axe on the back, vs the traditional way (on the belt):
watch this first
and
follow-up

Additionally, here is a video briefly discussing different types of axes/practical axe combat (@itmejp might find this interesting too, since he is the current axe-fighter):
Axe combat

And as a bonus, here is a video discussing historical hammers/maces for @gassymexican (mostly European, but there are examples from other cultures towards the end):
Hammers

If there are any other weapons/armor that you guys are interested in, I would be happy to provide links.

@AdamKoebel @ItmeJP you guys should get posters/shirts made with artwork of the card descriptions from the temple of the star I’d buy the shit outta those.
