[COURT OF SWORDS // E108 // Q&A] Funhouse Tents

a good time at the bug farm and other stories

Sorry but I have a few questions @AdamKoebel :
What type of creature is Zaridos from Utrix’s realm and what creature is from Innana’s?
Is there a thing such as Chaos Wizard? And can you be a Cleric of that kind?
Can a Dragonborn become a Berserker?
Can a Barbarian Berserker multi class as a Warlock?
How was your time in Japan? ^^

Cool thing number one:
There are apparently cool winged Chinese lions and foo- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixiu and https://www.buddhamuseum.com/foo-dog-kirin-ivory-censer.html

Cool thing number two:
The concept of coin is very Blades in the Dark, as another member of chat said.
Pg 42 of Blades- "Coin is an abstract measure of cash and liquid assets. The term is Akorosian
slang from the days of the old Imperial treasury, which minted special bank coins
of solid gold—each one valuable enough to cover a major transaction. "
“1 coin: A full purse of silver pieces. A week’s wages.”
“10 coin: Liquidating a significant asset—a carriage and goats, a horse, a deed
to a small property.”

I wonder if bat like wings or feather wings would heal better if they are damaged.

So many good moments from today’s show, I’m really hoping that some of it was clipped and gets shared, or that there’s some cool and funny art that comes from it.

Also entering the Market where they were selling Juice for coins, I couldn’t help but hear in my head in Sokka’s voice from Avatar “Juicy Juice! Get some Juicy Juice! It’s the Juiciest!”

Zeke, do we know what disease you were referring to?

Adam, if berg gets wings and has a kid, will that kid possible have wings also and that is a start of new sub species of orcs?

I am a little confused in two moments, I am not sure if they are intentional or mishaps.

First there were eggs, but there shouldn’t be eggs if things aren’t born?

And the person describing the King not being a child, in a world were children don’t really exist?

Thanks for the show, I enjoyed it.

The eggs are a juice-injected forced larva mutation that leads to the worms. Juice is responsible for a lot of weird shit here.

A child is a type of person - a short, weak kind of person with an ill-developed brain.

Nah, the fleshcrafting is a form of prosthesis, really.

A kirin, I think?

Chaos isn’t really a thing in this setting.

No reason why not.

So good, my friend. So damn good.

Great episode. Was that a pewter statue of a beholder bugfucker had? Assuming so does that mean the main world has pewter statues of beholders or did it come from a portal in a game store on Earth?

Also I’m loving the call back to chuckles having been in the Kings possession previously. In my head it isn’t a call back but I choose to think about it in terms of a video game and if they hadn’t lost chuckles or had done the side quest to reclaim chuckles before they came here in the game they would have had extra dialogue options in the convo with the king. And could have got the Kings secret item that’s only attainable if you chose to play a Gaja and have possession of the elephant statue. Haha. When they do the speed run Court of swords they will need to remember that next time. Sorry long stupid brain dump. Love the show.

Did you anyone else picture Andy dick playing the role of bugfucker?

hah, that’s great!

Hey Zeke,

Pre-show spoiler warning

Monks get proficiency in all saving throws at 14th level anyway, so maybe consider taking something like the Durable feat instead of Resilient. Just warning so you don’t double up on stuff. Keep on being the punchiest elephant out there.
