I remember watching the trailer and thinking it’s basically Shadowrun since the first scene. Then every person at the time who saw it on JP’s discord said the same thing. 
I believe in the comic-con panel someone in the audience asked if they got influenced by Shadowrun.
I was getting the FPS version of Shadowrun (2007) vibes myself.
