Battlefield 1 opinions?

What are your opinion so far?

I’ve played BF2 and BFBC2 in the past. Played a ton of BF2 and in BFBC2 I ended up being really really good. I’ve always played super tactical and still miss the commander role from BF2.

I’ve really only touched conquest so far but I’m enjoying the larger maps due if feels as if you can turn the tied of the battle with a small squad.

Also feel free to add me on Origin (DearDanny) if you want to do tactical squad play

I was a big BF1942 player back in “the day” and played a little BF3 but haven’t had a ton of time with the franchise overall. That said, I’m really enjoying BF1 - to the point where I wish it hadn’t come out the same time as Civ because I want to play both so much. The squad-level stuff on the big maps feels the best. Playing with a group of five, working to claim objectives and stuff is probably my fave kind of multiplayer shooter experience.

What has changed (besides the inclusion of the campaign) between the last beta and the release?

My only experience with it was during the beta. I thought is was an awesome experience to run around in a squad with friends. However, I found that there was a lot of spawning and instant dying when I was on my own.

I have played every battlefield except 2 (sadly enough).
Its Battlefield. As in it hasn’t changed much. Other than the theme, i still get that battlefield feeling. That is a good thing. Battlefield have always been good. The bad thing is, i might get bored pretty quick. And i Titanfall 2, looks really interesting (didn’t plat the first). Mostly because i dont play with friends like i used to do. The usual group of battlefield nerds i used to play with, over TS and skype, for hours with no end, are spread to the winds. And we have all grown up, with busy lives. Battlefield is just not a fun alone.

To me it feels really different. The guns for sure feels different. I was killing it in the beta but now it’s up and down. However I’ve started to get used to the guns again so it feels a bit better. There’s a lot more modes than I’m used to (being that my last BF game was Bad Company 2) and the new maps are stunning.

A lot of tactical stuff that I need to wrap my head around still while I familiarize myself with all the maps, but that can make such a big difference.

I’m waiting for my friend to get back from Japan so we can start playing together. So much more fun to play with VOIP, even if it’s just one more person. Now when I’m playing alone I’m trying to play in a squad but I went of medal hunt and got that damned damage, disable, destroy vehicles medal.

I have played a very little because of work but i can say that it’s still Battlefield. Have same problems like spawns close to enemie at points and others annoying shit (maybe if you fix them then game will be less fun) but game is still fun.

Kinda funny that people who played only jets in BF4 on stream they dont fly in BF1 anymore. And i can agree with that. Planes feel like papper in this game.

I hope it lasts but it dont looks like it.
