[COURT of SWORDS // E92 // Q&A] Whelp Whelp Whelp

I think definitely Death has also forgotten him.

Oooo that’s interesting death forgetting him. He has become a sort of pseudoHazzan

Yoji who? Smith who? I’m trying to keep an open mind here Adam, but I might not be weird enough for this maelstrom of references.

Hazan still had half his soul, but in a way, Yoji is a little like the Nameless Son - forgotten by the world instead of hidden away from it.

Wow! That’s pretty interesting. It makes you wonder about whether ‘others’ also walk the earth unremembered by all who come across their paths. That’s… a lot of power.

I wonder if someone has ever wished for this to have happened to a god? “The Forgotten God”. That would be a pretty cool chance of meeting!

I kind of like the idea of Yoji becoming sort of a Hungry Ghost a long way down the line. Like, he’s never going to really be able to reconcile his life, and he can’t really go anywhere when he dies, so he’ll just be stuck there with his many many many life experiences that are all really pretty horrible and are only going to haunt him worse over time because he can’t really make connections with other people anymore, he’ll never spiritually heal, etc. etc.

Thanks for answering my questions in the Q&A @AdamKoebel I love CoS and the immense complex world you and the players have built together. I’m super hyped for next week finally getting to see Zeke play a different character after so long as Kalimat. This week was an awesome juncture of choices and “fate” with the two remaining characters both making choices that led to “endings” for both of them. I’m also excited to see what new race JP will play that he hinted at in the Q&A … Episode 93 here we come alea iacta est.

@AdamKoebel Sorry if I’m a little late to the conversation here, but I just had a thought. Is it possible that the Fountain will never be complete now that Yoji’s soul has been forgotten? Once the rest of creation has been enlightened and become one with the Fountain, will Heaven just be scratching their heads wondering why it looks like a soul is still missing?

After watching the Patreon post show and hearing the players talking about the various characters they had and not exactly remembering some of the arcs (e.g. the 2 shot in the CoS fighting zombies), I made a thing. @AdamKoebel @itmeJP

It also gave me some other data. (Player names below are their Twitter handles to make it easier for myself.)

Wow! I didn’t realize that Ramus and Berg have been with us since nearly the beginning! I’ve watched since Episode 1, but this really helps put things in perspective.

Also, Kalimat with that huge episode streak! It’s especially impressive given the sheer amount of butt-clenching events that seemed to follow him wherever he went… lol

Would be interesting if Shadrick came back with a forest army to fight the party and instead found the objects.

Those would be powerful finds for Shadrick and the forest front to find, for anyone to find.

This is awesome!
Also, I was right, Kalimat had the longest on-screen streak of any character.

I think the chart makes it very clear why they introduced the changes after episode 50 and what consequences they had.

is zeke hellbent on make an elephantman monk? seems counter-productive to get a 3rd melee character in a group of 4 especially when ramus isnt at his best(missing his soul and all) and the fact that zeke didnt exactly roll that well, he can reach an ok ac(like ac 17 if he uses the feats on stat bumps) but he’ll be hit a lot and will need a lot of healing etc. it seems to me that a divine soul sorcerer would fit very well into the group when you consider what they can bring if “specced” correctly, as it allows him to bring literally everything, healing(twin life transference), buffs(can twin polymorph, haste etc.), debuff targets(confusion and twin hold monster etc.) ,summon creatures(animate objects) and dealing dmg(twin guiding bolt, fireballs, twin blight etc.), it seems like a better fit to me but i know zeke is going with a char that he thinks will be fun and that is definately fair, i guess we just look at things differently which is perfectly fine.

True, but it makes sense for either Shadrick to go and find out how the ambush went or for the cult to go and find out. The forest side is closer, so if they had the incentive they might get there first.

AH! Lady8Jane! This is so fucking cool.

Yeah it does make a lot of sense. Either Shadrick or the cult or both would likely investigate the farm to find out what happened, so either group could end up with the dagger and Big King Tao Ti’s tooth. Shradrick’s group would be closer, the cult are a few days journey from the farm.

This is so cool, i totally forgot Max played two characters at one point
