Great show~! My first foray into Far Verona and I am loving it. The system is pretty cool too, very narrative focused. I like that the physicality of a synth playing a part in the system, their ability to absorb some damage unlike a human body. Can we expect more of these enhanced abilities as the group make their way through Far Verona? Good Shapes to you all~!

thank you! the first episode is always an interesting challenge to overcome and i’m glad folks enjoyed it.

that was fun. fell off season one but im looking forwards to this reboot.

also, have never seen vana do anything before and she seems great. with her chatter about her gm style in the warmup, i cant wait for her to torture/traumatise mark almost as much as adam will :itmejpgmlol:

When she started talking about that I got faint. So exciting! :joy:

Any reason big reason for martin’s protective nature? Some past trauma, since some pretty rough stuff happens to poor worker synth, or just a creep ?

Great first episode… love that I finally have the option to see a show live again due to the EU friendly time. The cast makes me so happy… and I won’t lie… having Marcus back on Rollplay… just FUCKING YES!

Chiming in on the praise of probably the most EU friendly time so far for any Rollplay show. I can’t wait to see what kind of story will shake out of this cast once they are completely dialed in.

The action at the second half of the episode had me thinking, how fast is combat in Genesys normally and how do you expect it to mesh with the new episode format?

I suppose it’s something we’ll have to figure out as we go!

It tends to be fairly fluid. The characters don’t have as many miscellaneous options as a game like d&d so it’s mainly positioning!

Oh boy here we go again! As someone whos heroin is not Path of Exile but the Star Wars ruleset by FFG, I am super hyped Adam is using Genesys and am looking forward to this. I think the way the system works fits his GM style perfectly and we are in for an absolute treat!

I think Genesys definitely makes for a better “show” experience than SWN. On the other hand it would be very difficult to construct something like the faction turn without a system like SWN provides. I like that you’ve experimented and found what both systems are good at.

Definitely excited to see where it goes from here.

New settings, new stats.
I’m not sure about the graphs though, because having three different graphs for Triumph/Despair, Success/Failure, Advantage/Threats seems a bit confusing. Also I’m not sure, how to track the average dice pools over time. Having the bar graphs per person is nice, but it doesn’t work for making nice multi-week-graphs. If you have any ideas or suggestions, how to make these stats look nicer, let me know.
